Road trip planner for cars
Add your stops, set how long you want to drive each day, and Roadlegs shows the days, the countries you cross and what the fuel will roughly cost, with hotels and chargers close to each night.
Daily legs that match your pace
The default car day is 300 km or 5.5 hours, with a break every 2 hours. Ask for an exact number of days and the distance is spread to fit, or pin stops as nights.
Let Roadlegs reorder the stops between your start and end for a shorter order, or reverse the whole trip with one button.
Tolls, motorways, ferries and gravel
Switch off toll roads, motorways, ferries or unpaved roads and the route is recalculated.
Countries, costs and charging
See which countries the route crosses and how many kilometres you drive in each, and which of them sell a vignette or charge motorway tolls. Enter your consumption and fuel price for an estimate per day and for the whole trip, and add what a night costs for a total.
Search for charging stations and fuel along the route, and for hotels, guest houses, restaurants and cafes near each stop. Places come from OpenStreetMap, so details such as CCS fast charging only appear where someone mapped them.
Share, export, print
Plan together through a link, export GPX or KML, open each day in Google Maps or Waze, print the day by day sheet, or install the app to open saved trips offline.
Questions
Does Roadlegs show toll prices or vignette rules?
It lists the countries on your route that sell a vignette or charge motorway tolls and links to the official seller. It shows a price only for the Austrian vignette for cars; for every other country check the official site, because prices change every year.
Can I plan an electric car trip?
You can set your range and search for charging stations along the route. It does not know live charger availability, so treat the list as places to look at, not a guarantee.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. The planner works on phones and can be installed as an app. Saved trips open without a connection, but routing and search need one.
